The office of Conferences, Forums and Workshops presents a broad range of high-quality programs that address issues of historical and contemporary significance as well as focusing on the decorative arts, material culture, historic trades and horticulture. Colonial Williamsburg's skilled professionals are joined by distinguished members of the academic and professional communities to present these programs.

    Garden Symposium

    Colonial Williamsburg's 71st annual Garden Symposium, Small Spaces, Great Rewards, will focus on visually designing small garden spaces to produce the greatest rewards. Speakers will share their landscaping techniques and plant choices for small gardens, patios, courtyards and containers. From perennials to pollinators to herbs, become inspired with ideas to show your own creativity in your home garden.

    The symposium will include general sessions and afternoon small group activities with guest speakers and Colonial Williamsburg staff. Plan to join us April 28-30, 2017 for Small Spaces, Great Rewards.
