Join us for an extraordinary four-course dining experience celebrating the flavors and stories of the past. Hosted at Kings Arms Tavern, this exclusive event will feature expertly crafted dishes, perfectly paired wines, and the company of Gowan Pamphlet, a historical interpreter bringing to life the tales of a remarkable preacher and community leader.
The evening begins with a warm welcome and a cocktail featuring Uncle Nearest 1856 Bourbon, setting the tone for a memorable culinary journey.
- First Course: Indulge in Oysters Rockefeller with crispy salt-cured ham, paired with Chateau Graville Lacoste from Bordeaux, a wine as elegant as the dish itself.
- Second Course: Savor a comforting bowl of creamy corn chowder topped with smoky bacon and scallions, complemented by Williamsburg Winery’s Governor’s White.
- Third Course: Delight in creamy sweet potato grits served alongside a tender bone-in short rib with a red wine demi reduction and seasonal vegetables, paired with Domaine de Couron Côtes du Rhône.
- Fourth Course: Conclude the evening with a decadent fruit tart with almond frangipane, drizzled with white chocolate and raspberry, perfectly matched with Broadbent Malmsey Madeira.
