Music, as a common interest to the gentry of Williamsburg, tied the community together, enhancing the exchange of ideas on politics and new ideals of revolution. As you tour the Governor’s Palace, members of the Governor’s Musick ensemble will interpret music in the Ballroom as you might have heard it there in colonial times before your tour guide takes you into the Supper Room.
