In early America, an evening of theatre often concluded with a comic piece to have the audience smiling and laughing before the journey home. "Miss in Her Teens" was written for that exact purpose. The comic farce begins with Captain Loveit, recently returned from the army, employing his servant Puff to secure his agreeable match to lovely Miss Biddy—and her fifteen-thousand pound fortune! However, in his absence, two other gentlemen have made claim to Biddy. The outlandish Flash and the foppish Fribble have every intention to have the young miss for themselves!
