Friends of Colonial Williamsburg Collections brings together people with a personal commitment to strengthening the Foundation's collections. Your annual membership of $1,000 or more is tax deductible and will be used solely to acquire objects for the collections.
Friends are invited to an annual gathering hosted by our curators and conservators. An optional day-long study trip to historic sites or private collections is offered the day after the gathering. Members also receive a subscription to the semi-annual Friends newsletter.
Vice president Ronald Hurst, the Carlisle Humelsine Chief Curator, serves as chairman of Friends. Trish Collupy is your personal liaison with the Foundation. She can be contacted by email at friends@cwf.org, at (757) 220-7215, and by fax at (757) 565-8212.
Whether your passion is furniture or folk art, silver or ceramics, maps or the mechanical arts, membership in the Friends of Colonial Williamsburg Collections provides a special opportunity to study the art and artifacts of America's past. Come and share your enthusiasm with other collectors and Colonial Williamsburg's curators and conservators. Experience behind-the-scenes visits and hands-on examination of objects at our annual gathering.
