The original Bruton Heights School houses the Lane Auditorium and several of the Foundation's research and education departments. A permanent lobby exhibition recounts the early years of the school. The building is the centerpiece of the Bruton Heights School Education Center, built on land The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation acquired in 1997.
