Executive Chef: Julianne Gutierrez
Chef Julianne Gutierrez grew up in Ephrata, PA, where she developed her passion for the culinary arts. She pursued her dream by earning an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts and completing a comprehensive 6,000-hour apprenticeship at Colonial Williamsburg.
Chef's culinary journey led her from lead cook to Executive Chef at the Williamsburg Inn, where she crafts innovative menus using local and seasonal ingredients. Her passion for creating memorable dining experiences is reflected in events like Tide to Table, where she showcases her expertise in high-profile event planning. Chef Juli is dedicated to mentoring her team, fostering a positive kitchen culture, and sharing her love for cooking through dishes like vibrant seafood and arepas.
Sous Chef: Eric Gill
Raised as a military child, Chef Eric Gill’s culinary journey is shaped by diverse influences, ranging from the vibrant cuisines of Cuba to the unique flavors of Hawaii. At the age of 16, his passion for Chinese cuisine set him on the path to becoming a chef. After earning an Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts, he trained at Jackie’s Kitchen in Hawaii.
Since joining Colonial Williamsburg, Chef Eric has refined a bold and inventive culinary style under the mentorship of Chefs Julie. His cooking principles emphasize meticulous attention to detail, rigorous food safety practices, and a creative approach to ingredient use. Known for incorporating the freshest, seasonal ingredients into his dishes, Chef Eric highlights the region’s best produce.
