THE SPA of Colonial Williamsburg
In addition to The Spa of Colonial Williamsburg’s twelve treatment rooms, three pedicure stations, four hairdressing stations, selection of lounges, and fitness center, The Spa of Colonial Williamsburg’s 20,000 sq. ft. facility is equipped with three pools for guests to enjoy.
Indoor Lap Pool
The indoor lap pool is open year round with athletic swimming and fitness classes from 5:30am to 10am and free swim from 10am to 8pm.
Activity Pool
The heated outdoor activity pool typically opens in late March or early April, has a nearby snack bar serving food from the Williamsburg Inn, and welcomes families from 10am to 8pm.
Tranquility Pool
The outdoor tranquility pool is east of the main facility, in the direction of the Williamsburg Inn, and offers the opportunity to lounge under umbrellas and relax in a secluded pool surrounded by tall shrubs.
The spa fitness center and pools are only for Wellness Members and their guests, as well as guests of the Williamsburg Inn, Colonial Houses, Griffin Hotel, and Williamsburg Lodge.
The spa amenities are available with a paid pass or spa services only.
Pool Information & Policies
- Anyone under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult (18 or older). There is no lifeguard on duty. No guest should swim alone.
- Use of hot tub under the age of 18 is prohibited.
- Indoor/ Outdoor pools are reserved daily for lap swim, classes, and special events. Families are welcome 10am – closing.
- Lap swim is one person per lane only.
- Tranquility pool closes at sunset.
- No outside food or beverages
- No coolers
- No glass
- No smoking
- No Pets
Pool Closings
- In the event of inclement weather, all pools will be closed, including the indoor pool.
- Events affecting pool water quality will result in pool closures.
THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY, NO GUEST SHOULD SWIM ALONE
Fitness Facility Rules
- All guests and members must sign in before using the facilities each time.
- Appropriate fitness and swimwear attire is required in the facility
- If not familiar with our equipment, please ask a staff member for assistance
- Audio equipment without headphones is prohibited
- Aerobics room & pools are not available during classes, special events, or personal training sessions
- Appropriate footwear is required in the facility and in the fitness center.
