
Funding Opportunities for School Field Trips
To help students meet the Virginia Standards of Learning in History and Social Science, The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation offers several funded field trip opportunities. These funds enable students to have experiential and relevant learning opportunities in a 301-acre living history classroom with more than 300 original and restored buildings.
Funding includes:
- Student Admission Tickets
- Complimentary Teachers/Chaperone Tickets
- An SOL-aligned field trip
- Assistance with Bus Transportation Costs ($3 per student)
Funding for Virginia and Middle Neck Peninsula Fourth Grade Field Trips
The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation with support from Ferguson Enterprises offers grant opportunities to school divisions located in the Virginia and Middle Neck Peninsulas for fourth-grade classrooms.
